We are dependent on God as sheep to a shepherd.

Psalm 23:1,4 "The Lord is My Shepherd I shall 
not want....Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me."

John 10:14 (Jesus said) "I am the good Shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own."

God wants us to dwell "under His Wings"

Matt. 23:37 "...I (God) wanted to gather your 
children together, as a hen gathers her chicks 
under her wings,..."

Hebrews 13:5,6 "...For He (God) Himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. So we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper;"

John 5:30 (Jesus said) "I can of Myself do nothing..."

Luke12:22,31,32 "...do not worry about your life, what you will eat, not about your body, what you will put on....But seek the Kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom"

Luke 11:9 "For I say to you, ask, and it shall be given to you seek and you will find: knock, and it will be opened to you.
